Dear Crestview Families,

Due to your incredible generosity over the past few years, our supply of emergency clothing items has far surpassed our storage space! Because of your giving nature, we have been able to provide clothes for students who've experienced clothing malfunctions during the school day, to families who have suffered losses due to calamities or unexpected moves, and to those in need of shoes and/or winter clothing items. Moving forward, if we happen to run low on certain items (for example: leggings or gloves), we will reach out to you to help resupply that particular article because love knows no bounds in our Crestview Family!

The brand new Crestview Middle School Ag Program is seeking those stored away FFA jackets that may be lingering in your closet. If you wish to donate your jacket, we would love to take them. Drop them off at the MS Office or contact Mrs. Bays. Thanks!

This Friday's Spirit Theme is Your Favorite Sports Team!

Family Game Night Under the Lights is coming Wednesday, October 15, from 6-7 PM at Scott Bailey Memorial Field! Featuring children's author Ms. Dora Wilbor, CHS Athletes reading their favorite books on the field, a silent auction, food trucks, performance by the CHS Band, Food Trucks, and Free Books!

Thank you families for adjusting to our new pick up procedure, which has improved safety for our students and for you, as traffic is no longer backed up on Mansfield-Adario Rd. We do ask that drivers pull all the way forward in the line to maximize pick up space, and not make a U-turn in after picking up your child to help keep our students safe. We are averaging having our car line traffic completed before the buses leave the HS. Thank you for helping keep our students safe and making this adjustment run smoothly!

Several fruit combinations will be available along with our regular breakfast menu items. Students stop in and enjoy free breakfast! We have free breakfast for all students every day.

The Spirit Theme for Friday is Twin Day!

Kiss the Pig fundraiser launches tomorrow! Students, staff and community members may donate to staff specific jars where the top 3 staff member "earners" will have to kiss a pig at our assembly on Oct 9th. Donations by students will happen at lunchtime. Adults may donate any time.

Friday's spirit theme is NEON Day!

As an update with ongoing discussions and watching patterns in the morning with buses, breakfast and our morning start time we are adjusting our start time to 7:45 am starting tomorrow. Any tardies recorded between 7:40-7:45 from the beginning of the year will be updated and cleared out. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Friendly reminder that today we will start our new car rider pickup procedure wrapping around the building.

Hi Families, After watching our pick up line for a few days, we have identified a few areas to address for student safety. Many days the car line traffic is packed up onto the road creating an unsafe situation for students, drivers and other vehicles. Beginning Monday, September 22nd we will adjust our afternoon pick-up line to move around the corner of the building for student pick ups. Cars will enter only from Mansfield-Adario Road as a ONE WAY, then pull around the corner and line up along the sidewalk. Students will exit the building from 2 zones: the 5 & 6 wing for those grade levels, and the Gym doors for our 7 & 8 students. We will have cones marking the new pattern and assistance for the first few days to get used to it. Cars will go around the parking lot to exit onto St. Rt. 96. Hi Crestview Families, In accordance with Ohio House Bill 96, the following policy regarding personal electronic devices will go into effect at the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Personal electronic devices, including cell phones, headphones, earbuds, etc, must be stored in lockers throughout the entire school day. While Ohio House Bill 96 does not go into effect until 1/1/2026, Crestview Local Schools will immediately begin adhering to this policy rather than adopting it mid-school year. Not only are kids more engaged and less distracted in the classroom without cell phones, it is positively impacting social interactions between students as well. The data shows that limiting cell phone use at school improves students' engagement with each other and decreases distractions. Thank you in advance for adhering to House Bill 96.
