Winter Break Athletic Recap
It was a busy Winter Break for our Student Athletes. Take a look at some of the highlights from our events of Winter Break
Wrestling - Team finishes 12th out of 28 teams at the Kenston Invitational - Top placers for the Cougars were Caleb Cunningham 2nd, Jaden Hedrick 2nd and Jack Stephens 5th. On the Girls side Naomi Gearheart won her first two tournaments of the year going 10 - 0 over break. The team will be in action this Friday and Saturday at the JC Gorman invitational.
Boys Basketball - Continues to shine as they remain unbeaten at 8 - 0 following their most recent victory over conference rival Mapleton 78 - 39. They will host Plymouth on Friday and travel to Highland on Saturday.
Girls Basketball - continues to battle but dropped to 1 - 8 overall following last nights defeat at Edison 46 - 51. They travel to Plymouth this Thursday.
Swim and Dive were busy over break and continue to drop time and improve upon their most recent performances. Audrey McPherran placed 11th at the Northwest Dive Championships at BGSU. They will be in action this weekend at the Tyger Swim and Dive Invitational at Malabar Middle School.
