Dear Crestview Families,
In an effort to ensure that our Juniors and Seniors are able to participate in Prom and Graduation there are going to be some positive changes made in the high school. Due to the inability to wear a mask while eating, lunchtime is considered an “outside the classroom” exposure and thus we are required to quarantine. Our Juniors and Seniors will have the option to be moved into the gymnasium for lunch to encourage optimal social distancing, thus lowering the chances of a Covid-19 exposure that would result in a quarantine per Ohio Department of Health.
We are giving the students every opportunity to stay appropriately social distanced while at school. However, it is up to each individual student to maintain 6 feet of distance at lunch and masking appropriately (mask over mouth and nose) during the school day and any extracurricular school activities. This is one of the easiest ways to protect ourselves from the spread of Covid-19.
We cannot do this alone, we are asking that we come together as a community and remember the importance of wearing a mask appropriately. We need to be sure that when we are wearing our masks that we are covering our mouth and our nose. The class of 2020 wasn't given this opportunity, please make the most of what YOU CAN DO to ensure a positive end of the school year.
Mask Up for the Class of 2021, our friends, our families, for prom, and for graduation.
We are all in this together, and together we must all #MaskUp.
