Principal's Message
Identity. One of the greatest challenges of the new changes coming to Ohio in terms of the Common Core and End of Course Exams at the high school level will be maintaining the individual identity of Crestview High School. I truly believe this school and district have a special identity that few schools around us can match. While no school system is perfect, we pride ourselves in striving for perfection, most notably at looking at our distinction of excellence over the years.
The staff of Crestview High School is working diligently through the process of creating state mandated Student Learning Objectives as well as understanding the demographics and needs of creating the Crestivew community citizens of tomorrow. One of the greatest challenges we will face is creatively offering our students opportunities to truly determine their college and career readiness. Our drive is to continue to offer our students exposure to different options that they might choose in their career path. We wish to thank our partners at Pioneer and The Transformation Network for giving our students the opportunity for job training programs.
As we end the 2012-2013 year, we graduate yet another class of Cougars. Our hope for them is patience, accountability and the application of their education and experiences at Crestview to guide them in the next steps of their journey.
It is a privilege to serve the young people at Crestview High School.
