Third Grade

The Third Grade Teachers at Crestview all work together in helping your child meet the Ohio Standards in the subjects of Reading, Social Studies, Math, Science and Technology. Each of us has a home room class and then we rotate throughout the morning. We divide into groups for Guided Reading Levels each day with our reading teachers, Mrs. Wildman and Mrs. Patrlja, and our Intervention Specialist, Mrs. Kohne. Our students then will see our specialists in music, Mrs. Wagner, gym, Miss Stine, art, Mrs. Rader, library, Mrs. Given, and Mrs. Elchert, for Character Education.

        Third Grade Teachers

Mrs. Jennifer Stancato is in her seventeenth year at Crestview and teaches Reading/Language to our third grade. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading mysteries, gardening and drawing. Mrs. Stancato is on the Right to Read Committee.

Mrs. Brenda Crist is our Third Grade Social Studies teacher. This is her twenty-seventh year at Crestview. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Ashland University and a Master’s Degree from Marygrove College. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, scrapbooking, reading and walking. Mrs. Crist has the award of “Master Teacher,” from the State of Ohio, is a grade level team leader, on the Leadership Quilt team and the First Day Celebration Committee.

Mrs. Ramona Givens is in her eleventh year at Crestview and the Third Grade Math teacher. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Ashland University. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching and playing sports, and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes. Mrs. Givens is on the First Day Celebration Committee and the Heath Insurance Committee.

Mrs. Lisa Dulin is our Science and Technology teacher. This is her 2nd year at Crestview Elementary and her 16th year teaching. She graduated from The Ohio State University and is a Buckeye through and through!
Mrs. Dulin enjoys baking, reading, and the great outdoors with her husband and two boys.

Mrs. Beth Kohne is our Intervention Specialist. This will be her fourth year at Crestview and her eleventh year teaching. She earned her Master’s degree from Ashland University. She was also awarded the distinction of “Master Teacher” from the State of Ohio Department of Education. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children in her free time.
